Where OnDMARC is stronger

• Breadth of hosted records. OnDMARC manages MTA-STS, TLS-RPT and BIMI from the same interface as DMARC, SPF and DKIM, and its Enterprise and Premier plans include a Verified Mark Certificate. DMARC Dojo doesn’t host BIMI or MTA-STS.
• SPF beyond 10 lookups. Dynamic SPF on Essentials and above lets a domain with many senders go past the SPF 10-lookup limit. DMARC Dojo keeps you under the limit by refusing changes that would break it, which doesn’t help if you genuinely need more senders than fit.
• Forensic reports. OnDMARC processes failure (RUF) reports on Essentials and above. DMARC Dojo reads aggregate reports only.
• Enterprise requirements. SAML single sign-on and role-based access (Essentials and above), ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, data centers in the UK, EU and US, and, on Enterprise and Premier, security-event streaming to SIEM tools, webhooks and Slack (Event Hub). If your procurement team asks for a SOC 2 report, OnDMARC can answer and DMARC Dojo can’t yet.
• Track record and people. Red Sift was founded in 2015 and offers chat support, phone support and a dedicated account manager on Enterprise and Premier. DMARC Dojo launched in 2026 and has no phone support.
• Instant testing. OnDMARC’s Investigate tool checks a configuration change from a test message in seconds, rather than waiting a day for reports.

Where DMARC Dojo is stronger

• A free plan. One domain is free with hosted DMARC, SPF and DKIM, full report processing, dashboards and email digests. OnDMARC offers a trial rather than a free tier.
• Published prices past four domains. Pro covers 25 domains for $19/month and Teams covers 100 for $99/month. OnDMARC’s plans above Express are priced by quote.
• No volume tiers. DMARC Dojo doesn’t count messages on any plan, so a newsletter spike doesn’t change your bill or plan.
• A guided path to p=reject. Each domain has a belt (White at p=none, Orange at quarantine, Black at reject) and the daily digest lists the next actions until every domain reaches Black belt. The AI analyst on Pro and Teams explains failures and recommends staged policy changes.
• Agency features at a fixed price. Teams includes unlimited client sub-accounts and branded read-only client portals at dmarcdojo.ai/c/<agency>.
• Quick setup on Cloudflare and Route 53. One-click setup imports your current DMARC policy, SPF senders and DKIM keys before switching anything.

Pricing compared

A worked example using published prices only. Take a business with three domains sending about 300,000 messages a month.

• OnDMARC Express fits (up to 4 domains and 1 million emails a month) and starts at $9/month billed annually, or about $108 a year at the starting price. It keeps 30 days of history, allows up to 10 SPF lookups and doesn’t include forensic reports, the API or SSO.
• DMARC Dojo needs Pro for three domains: $190/year billed annually, or $19/month.

At that size, OnDMARC Express costs less at its starting price. The picture changes at five or more domains: Express no longer fits, and OnDMARC’s next plans need a quote, while DMARC Dojo Pro stays $190/year up to 25 domains and Teams $990/year up to 100. Prices change, so check both pricing pages before deciding, and ask Red Sift for a quote if you’re above Express.

Switching from OnDMARC

1. Add your domains to DMARC Dojo. Each gets a private report address like <token>@rua.dmarcdojo.ai.
2. Run both side by side. The DMARC rua tag accepts a comma-separated list, so receivers send reports to both services during the overlap. If OnDMARC hosts your _dmarc record, add the address in its editor; otherwise edit the TXT record. Give it a week or two so you can compare the sender lists.

3. Move to hosted records. Point _dmarc, your SPF record and your DKIM selectors at DMARC Dojo. On Cloudflare or Route 53, one-click setup reads your existing DMARC policy, SPF senders and DKIM keys first, so the hosted versions match what you publish today.
4. Check SPF lookups first. If you relied on Dynamic SPF to go past 10 lookups, list your senders before moving: DMARC Dojo won’t publish an SPF record that exceeds the limit. Fixing too many SPF lookups covers the usual ways to trim.
5. Plan for what doesn’t move. Keep BIMI and MTA-STS records somewhere else (your DNS host or another provider), and remove any ruf address you no longer read.
6. Confirm with the free checker, then cancel OnDMARC once reports arrive normally.

Which should you choose?

Choose OnDMARC if you need forensic reports, hosted BIMI or MTA-STS, SPF beyond 10 lookups, SAML SSO, a vendor with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, phone support or an account manager. It’s also a good-value pick for up to four domains on Express if 30 days of history is enough.

Choose DMARC Dojo if you want a free plan for one domain, a published price for 5 to 100 domains, no message counting, client portals for agency work, or an AI analyst and MCP access at a small-team price. Not sure where your domain stands? Start with moving from p=none to p=reject.
